WebCT Help
WebCT (http://dl.bergen.edu) is the online course software program used at Bergen Community College. Only students who have registered for online or hybrid classes will have access to WebCT.
Q: What is my User Name?
A: Students should use the same User Name for WebCT as for WebAdvisor. Not sure what that is? Go to http://go.bergen.edu and click on the "Account Information" link at the bottom of the Main Menu. Note: Passwords are different across the two programs.
Q: What is my password?
A: Typically, the WebCT password is the first 8 letters of your last name and the last 4 digits of your social security number (no hyphens, capital letters or spaces).
Q: What if I'm still having trouble?
A: Please contact the WebCT Student Helpdesk at 1-866-479-0733. This is a toll-free call. Help is available 24/7.
Q: How do I get into my course? How do I navigate inside WebCT?
A: Students who have elected to register for online or hybrid classes should plan to attend an orientation session for WebCT prior to the start of class. Distance Learning offers many orientation sessions at the start of each semester. A schedule of these sessions can be found at: http://www.bergen.edu/pages/837.asp. If you are unable to attend one of these sessions in person, you can participate in an online orientation by utilizing the "Resource Area" inside of WebCT.
